Publisher SEGA and developers Sports Interactive have announced the cancellation of what would have been the latest edition of their long-running football management simulator, the aptly titled Football Manager 25.Â

The game was initally supposed to be released late 2024, but on 30 September of that year Sports Interactive announced an indefinite delay to try and polish the game further. Now it seems that the game will not really see the light of day.
Sports Interactive will now instead be focusing on getting Football Manager 26 ready for release, which is expected to come out later in the year (barring any repeat of FM25 issues).
