The Mandalorian's Gina Carano fired by Lucasfilm for social media posts

11 February 2021 - In a statement released late last night, a spokesperson from Lucasfilm has announced that Gina Carano is no longer employed by them.

11 February 2021 - The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal has been cast as Joel for the live-action adaptation. Pascal will be joined by fellow Game of Thrones alumni Bella Ramsey, who will play Ellie.

Disney+ announces STAR, its sixth expansion

28 January 2021 - In an announcement earlier today, Disney announced it is bringing several of the properties it acquired through the Fox merger such as Deadpool and Family Guy to its streaming platform, under the banner titled ‘STAR’. This could pave the way for more content catered for mature audiences being brought to Disney+.
